Responsibility

• Analysis of requirements relating to the area of responsibility (laws, customers, authorities and internal)
• Proactive and timely completion of assigned project tasks
• Analysis of customer CAD data with regard to manufacturability and customer-suitable documentation, including the presentation of technical arguments
• Development of concepts for the implementation of customer requirements
• Participation in the risk analysis process through the application of DFMEA
• Elaboration of CAD data with regard to manufacturability (dimensions, tolerances, demolding, process and assembly)
• Managing, analyze and release 2D drawings of individual parts and assemblies in accordance with internal and external standard specifications
• Coordinate the design engineers

Job requirements

• Technical training, secondary school education or a degree in the fields of plastics technology or mechanical engineering
• Mastery of the product design process for automotive plastic parts
• Knowledge of the functional analysis and evaluation process
• Knowledge in the use of specialized product design software (CATIA V5/V6)
• Ability to work independently, teamwork and strong communication skills in an international environment
• Experience in processes for automotive OEM
• Knowledge and experience in wiring harnesses development
• Knowledge and experience in analyzing schematics and drawings
